Google Pixel 3 XL may have bigger display, higher screen-to-body ratio

 The notorious leaker claims Google’s phones will increase the smartphones’ display size to 5.3-inches and 6.2-inches. This is a big jump from the current generations’ screen size of 5-inch and 6-inch display.

This lead us to conclusion that Google Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL will sport a nearly bezel-less display. Google may actually achieve a fantastic screen-to-body ratio of 85% to 93%.

With that screen-to-body ratio, Google may pull off 5.3-inch and 6.2-inch display sizes on Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, respectively, without significantly increasing the sizes of the handsets. The Pixel 2 and its larger counterpart have a screen-to-body ratio of 67.9% and 76.4%, respectively.

If Google follow previous release date schedules, then the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL release date could happen in October.

With quite a bit of hit projects under his belt, Lee Min Ho figured that he’s gained himself some fame, but he also admitted that he never expected to receive this much love overseas, especially from China. During a recent shoot with star lifestyle magazine @star1, Lee Min Ho talked about his rising fame with his dramas Boy Before Flowers and City Hunter, both of which have become quite popular in China. Lee Min Ho said in the interview, “Up to this point, Korean dramas have been loved overseas, not for its special genre, but for its easy romance or comedy. But because City Hunter is an action-packed drama, I was quite surprised that it was actually popular in China.” Now that he’s well-known in both countries, Lee Min Ho says it doesn’t matter what kind of project he is offered, whether it’s Korean or international. “I think a project is full of charms if it’s a good production or has a character that I’m greedy for," revealed Lee Min Ho. "If it’s a worthwhile project, no matter where it’s created, it’ll be competitive anywhere.” Adding on to his mindset of dramas, Lee Min Ho said, “From the beginning to the end of a drama, it’s most important that I’m focused on the project that I’m responsible for and feel affection towards it. MANILA, Philippines — South Korean actor Lee Min-ho, who shot to fame in Asia for his role in the 2009 hit television drama “Boys Over Flowers,” has received a rousing welcome from Filipino fans in Manila. His arrival Thursday was a top Twitter trend in the country.



GMA News dubbed him “Lee Min Hot” and showed a video of the heartthrob being mobbed by shrieking fans at Manila’s airport. The 25-year-old actor is an endorser of a local clothing brand.

Organizers say he will meet with fans and tour malls during his four-day visit. Lee is best known for his role as a rich student who falls in love with a poor schoolmate in “Boys Over Flowers.” The Philippines’ ABS-CBN network says it will soon air Lee’s latest drama, “Faith.”

MANILA, Philippines -- "Boys Over Flowers" heartthrob and Korean superstar Lee Min Ho is scheduled to visit the Philippines for the first time.

Lee Min Ho, one of the international endorsers of local clothing line Bench, will meet his Filipino fans on November 16 in a "Fun Meet" at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

On its official website, Bench said fans of the Korean actor can avail of tickets to the event, titled "Benchsetter Fun Meet: Lee Min Ho," by purchasing items from participating stores nationwide.

Dubbed a "GlobalBenchSetter," Lee Min Ho was tapped by Bench to become its endorser after rising to fame for his role as Gu Jun Pyo in the hit Korean series "Boys Over Flowers." The show was first aired in the Philippines by ABS-CBN in 2009.

This was followed by the local airing of another Lee Min Ho-starrer, "Perfect Match," in 2010, and subsequently "City Hunter" in early 2012.

In August this year, two other Korean stars Si Won and Dong Hae, of the Super Junior fame, also visited the country. The two are also among the roster of Bench's international endorsers.

Other foreign endorsers of the local clothing line are Filipina-Mexican-American singer Jessica Sanchez, Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine, Hollywood actor Liam Hemsworth, Disney-grown singer Joe Jonas, and American TV stars Lucy Hale and Michael Trevino.

On October 30th at the Young Jong-do studio, actor Lee Min Ho wrapped up filming for the SBS drama ‘Faith’.

On this day, the actor stated, “Through ‘Faith’ I was able to portray the charming character of Choi Hyung. I would like to thank all the viewers and fans that loved both ‘Faith’ and Choi Hyung. I would also like to sincerely thank the staff who toiled for 6 months with me”. Lee Min Ho continued on, “Even though the situation was not ideal for both actors and staff, everyone worked without complaint and came together as a team, making this project worthwhile”.

The actor finished with, “I want to put down this weight I’ve been carrying for 6 months, eat a nice homemade meal and sleep for 3 days like Choi Hyung. I would like to applaud everyone who kept running until the very last episode”.

Starting from the first day of shooting, Lee Min Ho suffered from the flu and received various injuries due to his numerous action sequences. However, thinking about the fact that his injuries may burden the team, the actor did not reveal any of his injuries.

On this day, with Director Kim Jong Hak’s, “OK”, all the actors and staff sent up a round of applause, congratulating one another for safely completing the drama. Lee Min Ho personally went and personally greeted all of the nearly one hundred staff members.

Lee Min-ho, who rose to fame when he starred in the hit Korean drama "Boys Over Flowers" in 2009, will join A-list celebrities whose wax figures are on display in the museum's Shanghai branch. They are Julia Roberts, David Beckham, Robert Pattinson, Nicole Kidman, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Madonna, Michael Jackson, Andy Lau, Jackie Chan and Yao Ming. Representatives from Madame Tussauds from United Kingdom and China went to Korea to take Lee Min-ho's body measurements and take his pictures.

“To get different angles for my smile, I had to have my mouth open for three hours. I thought my jaw would break off. But to think I will be immortalized is kind of awesome,” said Lee, according to the Korea JoongAng Daily. Lee Min-ho was chosen for the wax figure due to numerous requests from fans. A museum representative was quoted as saying that Madame Tussauds selects individuals who receive love, care and respect from the locals.

 Lee Min-ho is one of the most popular stars today in South Korea and other countries. His official Facebook page has 5.78 million fans and his Twitter account has 762,944 followers. His Weibo account, China's version of Twitter, has 4.85 million fans while his Me2day account is followed by 256,519 fans. The actor is also one of the most popular product endorsers in Korea.

A poll held last month showed Lee Min-ho being chosen as the No. 1 male celebrity endorser for cosmetics. Lee Min-ho's biggest career break came in 2009 when he was chosen to play Gu Jun-pyo in "Boys Over Flowers." The drama became a ratings hit in Korea and Asia. This became a turning point to Lee Min-ho's career as it opened many opportunities for him.

Since 2009, he has endorsed about 30 products and companies. And his acting career continues to flourish. He starred in the drama "Personal Taste" in 2010 and "City Hunter" in 2011. Lee Min-ho’s followers online have exceeded the 10 million mark. According to StarHaus Entertainment, his agency, as of Wednesday Lee’s total number of online followers was about 10.4 million, more than any other Korean public figure.

Lee has more than 5.4 million followers on Facebook, 4 million on the Chinese social site Weibo.com, 660,000 on Twitter and 230,000 on the Korean SNS Web site Me2Day. Of the total number of Lee’s cyber-followers, 40 percent are Chinese.


Lee’s agency said that his appeal is due to the fact that he is always trying to create novel ideas to communicate and engage with fans. “Lee is always asking his fans how they are, being honest about what’s on his mind,” said a spokesperson from StarHaus Entertainment.

“The messages that my fans leave me on my various social Web sites have been such an immense source of encouragement,” Lee said while on location in Changwon, Gyeongsang, for the upcoming drama “Faith.”

2NE1’s female lead vocalist and the former Star Magic talent, Sandara Park and Boys Over Flowers star Lee Min Ho were together in a TV commercial. They endorsed a brand of beer called Cass 2X Beer CF.

The taping for the TV commercial was completed last month of August in Gangnam, Seoul, Korea . There are around 240 extras at the “concert” being performed.
