As the Black Friday 2018 approaches, retailers are busy prepping up on their best deals and doorbusters to offer at both in-store and online. While Walmart, Target, Best Buy and Amazon are considered the Black Friday celebrities during the holiday shopping season, they are usually not the one-stop-shop offering the deepest discounts during the holiday sale. Even though these stores have some of the best doorbusters and the hottest deals, their overall average price reduction during the Thanksgiving and Black Friday 2018 sales are unexpectedly lower than the other retailers.

The Centrio News analyzed the average discounts offered by major retailers during the stretch of Black Friday last year. Using that information, we put together a list of predictions for the same retail stores for Black Friday 2018. While the middle-of-the-road price markdown may marginally change from a year to the next for a certain chain, we have unearthed the figures and were surprisingly nearly identical each season for every retailer.
